Est. 2024 The Little Cheese Collective began in Fall 2024, when two longtime friends, Nina and Dani, turned their love of hosting into a mobile catering service for the DMV area. With over a decade of combined experience in the service industry, we've crafted countless charcuterie spreads for brunches, holiday parties, weddings, and everything in between.
After years of perfecting our grazing-table style for friends and family, we knew it was time to get licensed, get mobile, and bring our signature spreads to events across the region.
Our Roots
Our experience in the service industry and our Afghan and Guatemalan backgrounds taught us valuable lessons about hosting, hospitality, and making guests feel like they're having the time of their lives. We don't just serve charcuterie. We're serving a story on every board.
With every event that we cater, our shared values of taking care of our guests transcends everything that we do. We only serve food that we would serve ourselves at an event, and nothing is ever less than absolutely stunning.
Sustainability & Local Sourcing
We share a passion for sustainability. We're almost completely plastic-free, and by 2026 we're expecting to have replaced all plastic packaging with biodegradable bamboo.
We've partnered with local florists like the Flower Gallery in Manassas to supply florals for our tablescaping spreads. We source our honey and honeycomb from local farms in Virginia and source fruits and vegetables locally when we can.
We are all about feeding into our local economy right here in Northern Virginia—if you are a local cheese or halal cured meat supplier, please reach out to get on our list of vendors.
We are here to execute your vision perfectly — ensuring that you never have to lift a finger.
Nina
Co-Founder & Operations Director Nina is passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences for guests. With a background in event planning and a keen eye for detail, she ensures that every charcuterie board is not only delicious but also visually stunning.

Our Local Partners
Every board we create tells a story—not just ours, but the stories of the local farms, artisans, and producers who share our passion for quality. We're proud to source honey and honeycomb from Virginia apiaries, fresh seasonal produce from nearby farms, and florals from local florists who understand the art of presentation.
These partnerships aren't just about ingredients; they're about community. By working with local producers, we support the Northern Virginia economy and ensure that every bite reflects the best our region has to offer.

Delivery & Setup
For catering events and special occasions, our team arrives 1–2 hours before your event to set up grazing tables and arrange your order to perfection. Additional time may be required for tablescaping, floral arrangements, and other add-on services.
To ensure on-time delivery and beautifully curated creations, all orders must be placed at least one day in advance. We also kindly ask that any pets be secured in a separate area during setup—this helps us work quickly and safely while keeping your furry friends stress-free!
Have an event outside of these areas?
Reach out to us anyway — we love a good road trip!
We're always on the hunt for exceptional cheeses—starting close to home. Whenever possible, we source from local Virginia creameries and regional producers. But when quality calls, we look further afield to France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and beyond. Every cheese on our boards is chosen for its character, craftsmanship, and ability to create memorable moments.
Triple Crème Brie
FranceOur classic Brie is a French cheese with a fresh cream flavor, incredibly smooth and buttery. The rind is edible and pairs beautifully with fruit and honey. Pair this silky cheese with champagne or a light Chardonnay for a balanced flavor.
Cambozola
GermanyCambozola is like Brie and Bleu Stilton had a baby. This cheese is mild in flavor, sourced from Germany, and finds an amazing balance between buttery, bloomy, savory, and nutty with a hint of sweetness. A great blue cheese for beginners.
Secretly Seasoned Boursin Ball
Local CreationWe elevated the classic herby and smooth Boursin cheese by rolling it in a savory blend of secret spices from the Shenandoah Valley. This seasoned twist pairs exceptionally well with our farmstand hot pepper jelly.
Cranberry Cinnamon Chèvre
USAThis surprisingly mild and smooth goat cheese has a tart but sweet finish, wrapped in dried cranberries with notes of cinnamon and vanilla. Try this cheese spread on a dark chocolate covered pretzel for the ultimate rich and creamy dessert bite.
Camembert
FranceThis cow's milk French cheese is similar in appearance to Brie, with more of an earthy, savory flavor. The rind is edible, bloomy, and beautiful when placed on a grazing board. Pairs well with both sweet and savory accompaniments.
Blueberry Vanilla Chèvre
USAThink of this as the spring version of our Cranberry Cinnamon Chèvre. This smooth goat cheese is wrapped in dried blueberries with a stronger vanilla flavor and an overall sweet and tart profile.
Marinated Mozzarella
Local CreationWe elevate simple, soft, and creamy Mozzarella by marinating it for at least 48 hours in high-quality olive oil and secret seasonings from the Shenandoah Valley. Pairs delightfully with beefsteak tomatoes and fresh basil.
Feta
GreeceOur brine-cured Greek Feta is soft, crumbly, salty, savory, and creamy. We typically top it with high-quality olive oil and freshly ground oregano and pepper. For a Middle Eastern twist, try it with mint leaves, walnuts, and honey.
Blue Stilton
EnglandBlue Stilton is arguably the most popular blue cheese, with its semi-soft texture and beautiful blue marbling. Tangy and bold with a complex, robust flavor. We love pairing it with local honey and figs. Try it with dark chocolate to enhance its creamy texture.
Smoked Gouda
NetherlandsWe source high-quality Smoked Gouda—or How-da—from the Netherlands. Easily one of our favorites. The complex, nutty flavor is enhanced by smokiness. Semi-soft and buttery, it pairs well with apples, pears, and light red wine.
Red Leicester
EnglandNamed after the city of Leicester, this hard, cheddar-like cheese gets its beautiful red color from achiote tree seeds. Crumbly in texture with nuttiness and umami, perfect for pairing with tangy fruits and chutneys.
Gruyère
SwitzerlandThe older this cow's milk cheese gets, the earthier and more complex it becomes. Unlike Emmental, this Swiss cheese gets crumblier with age. In a nicely aged Gruyère, you'll find hints of caramel and toffee, plus those crunchy little salt crystals we all love.
Blood Orange Artigiano
ItalyA beautiful orange rind from marinating in blood orange juice. Aged for a minimum of five months, little salt crystals appear that complement the sweet/savory profile. Start with the rind, where citrusy and nutty flavors really shine.
Manchego
SpainFrom the wilderness of central Spain, made from the milk of Manchega sheep. Known for its beautiful herringbone rind and versatility in pairing with just about anything. Perfect for beginners—we love introducing it alongside pepper jelly and thin crostini.
